My Approach

I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship. Building trust, rapport, and a genuine sense of connection creates the conditions for meaningful growth and lasting change. My goal is to help patients feel comfortable, understood, and at ease while providing a space where they can openly explore challenges, gain insight, and work toward the life they want to create.

While support and validation are important, meaningful change often requires us to examine long-standing patterns and challenge ourselves in new ways. I strive to balance warmth, compassion, and acceptance with thoughtful guidance while helping patients recognize their strengths, build confidence in their abilities, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Together, we identify obstacles, develop practical strategies, and work toward goals that support lasting growth both inside and outside of the therapy room.

My Experience

I have developed my clinical experience across a diverse range of healthcare environments, including large hospital systems, outpatient medical clinics, community mental health settings, private practice, and traditional outpatient therapy settings. I am also experienced in providing telehealth services and value the accessibility and continuity of care that virtual treatment can provide. Working across these settings has allowed me to develop a flexible and collaborative approach while working with individuals presenting with a broad range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and medical concerns.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of populations, including young children with neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and psychiatric concerns; adolescents navigating emotional, social, and developmental challenges; adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, psychosis, and life transitions; families seeking support and improved functioning; and older adults coping with medical, cognitive, and age-related concerns. My experience also includes work within acute and inpatient healthcare settings, supporting individuals facing serious medical conditions, significant psychological distress, and major life adjustments. In addition to providing therapy, I have extensive training in neuropsychological assessment and diagnostic evaluation, which informs my understanding of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental functioning and supports a comprehensive approach to patient care.
