LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy
We provide a safe, welcoming environment where your identity is affirmed, your experiences are validated, and your voice is heard.
We recognize the unique experiences, challenges, and strengths of LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. Being part of this community can bring joy, resilience, and strong connections, but it can also mean facing discrimination, family conflict, social rejection, or internal struggles with identity. These stressors can lead to anxiety, depression, relationship strain, or difficulty feeling truly seen and understood.
Affirmative Therapy is Mandatory for Success
Affirmative care is essential. If you’re working with a therapist on something like PTSD, but they do not create a supportive, affirming space for your identity, the therapy may fall short—or even cause harm.
At Counseling 360, we create a supportive space where you can explore your experiences without fear of judgment. Our therapists honor your identity, validate your feelings, and help you navigate challenges such as coming out, building healthy relationships, healing from trauma, or coping with societal pressures.
Together, we’ll focus on your goals, whether that’s improving mental health, strengthening self-acceptance, or building a more fulfilling life.
Other Modalities
Affirmative Therapy works in tandem with other therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT, and all others that we provide. See the full list below.
