My Approach

I take a more holistic approach that is rooted in compassion, authenticity, transparency, and empathy. I believe that when I embody these qualities, it allows others to do the same. I make it a priority to ensure my clients feel safe, heard, and seen throughout the entirety of our time working together.

To me, deep healing begins the moment we choose to be present. I may incorporate mindfulness practices into our sessions such as mediations, breathing exercises, and encourage the use of somatic healing by connecting the mind, body and spirit. I may focus on inner child healing, trauma healing and building a strong relationship with oneself.

I try to always meet my clients where they are on their healing journey while encouraging them to challenge their thoughts and behaviors at times. I wholeheartedly believe that the relationship we have with ourselves will shape our entire lives and together, we can focus on cultivating a stronger, more loving relationship to ourselves.

My Experience

There would be no professional experience if I didn’t have my fair share of personal experience with mental health and healing. The real work began several years ago, when I removed alcohol from my life and began getting to know who I am apart from all of life's natural conditioning. I have been on a deep spiritual healing journey since. Throughout my professional experience in the mental health field as both a case manager and an associate therapist, I have learned that the magic happens when we slow down.

My daily practices include meditation, some breathwork, journaling, yoga and intuitive dance/movement, phoneless time spent in nature and intentional time spent with myself. My mental, physical and spiritual wellness is the most important thing to me because it allows me to show up for what I love most in this life (my family and friends, my career, and my cup-fillers!)

Working as a therapist and walking alongside those brave enough to face all parts of themselves, is truly one of my greatest passions in this life. I learn as much from my clients as they learn from our sessions. I feel beyond grateful to have the opportunity to hold space for other healers in this world.
