My Approach
I believe that healing begins in a safe and supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in a systemic lens, honoring your unique story and strengths. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with an attachment theory focus, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy to best fit your therapeutic goals.
With a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens, I work with individuals—including adults, adolescents, and children ages 5 and up—as well as couples and families. Together, we will explore your experiences, uncover patterns, and cultivate healing.
My Experience
My experience as a therapist has been shaped by my work in community-based mental health, where I have supported individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families through a variety of challenges. Working with diverse populations, including marginalized communities and those affected by trauma, has deepened my appreciation for the unique stories each client brings into therapy and reinforced my commitment to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive care through a systemic lens.
I believe in meeting clients where they are at without judgment, offering a compassionate and collaborative space for healing, self-discovery, and growth. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and an understanding of the complex systems that impact mental health, with a dedication to supporting clients in building meaningful relationships, embracing their strengths, and achieving their personal and therapeutic goals.
